Mr Andrew Molloy, consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in foot and ankle disorders, gained the status from Stryker UK Ltd together with Mr Chris Walker, consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. As a result, surgeons from around the world are now visiting Aintree to observe procedures, study new techniques and learn more about implants and treatments. Visits have already taken place with delegates from Israel, Russia and UK. Mr Molloy said: Its a real achievement to gain this accreditation, which recognises the excellence of our practice. The surgeon-to-surgeon visitation program is a highly interactive program that provides surgeons the opportunity to discuss and observe a wide variety of procedures focusing on all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. The course is aimed at consultant orthopaedic surgeons, clinical fellows and registrars with an active clinical practice on foot and ankle surgery. http://www.alabamascholars.org/feetmedicaldoctor/2017/01/02/some-emerging-challenges-for-prudent-inflammation-in-foot-arch-tactics/Mr Molloy added that the course would help further enhance the reputation of the service at Aintree, which already has the lowest published infection rates in the world.
